The champion does not let his guard down

Kas wins the first race in Barcelona and Mary Boya secures the vice-championship.

It was a calm race for what we are used to seeing. Haverkort flight and won. What followed was a beautiful battle for third place between Oliver Goethe, Josh Dufek and Thomas Ten Brinke, a parallel to what is happening in third place in the general standings.

It seemed that Mari Boya was assured of second place, but Thomas Ten Brinke was faster than all his teammates and took second place. In this way, the third step of the podium was for Mari Boya. With this position, the Spanish driver mathematically achieved the vice-championship.

Dufek was fourth and Oliver Goethe, who had some problems, qualified eleventh. The first non-MP driver in the race was Ivan Nosov (Drivex) who took fifth place.
The rest of the top 10 was completed by Lorenzo Fluxá (Global Racing Services), Paul Adrien Pallot (Drivex), Quique Bordas (Formula of Champions), Carles Martínez (Formula of Champions) and Léna Bühler (Drivex).

Tomorrow a great day awaits us, we will have qualifying practice 2 (9:30), Race 2 (11:45) and Race 3 (16:35).
