The F4 Spanish Championship heads to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 6–8 November for the seventh and final round of the 2026 season, with the Drivers’ and Rookie titles still to be decided. After six rounds of racing across Spain and Portugal, Barcelona will bring another competitive season to a close with three races at one of Europe’s most demanding circuits.
Kasper Schormans arrives in Montmeló as the clear championship leader following an exceptional weekend at Circuito de Navarra. The Dutch driver claimed all three race victories at the penultimate round, extending his advantage at the top of the standings and putting himself in a commanding position ahead of the final three races.
With 256 points, Schormans holds a 53-point lead over Noah Monteiro (203), who remains his closest challenger. Rocco Coronel sits third with 181 points, followed by Borys Lyzen on 170 and Andrej Petrovic on 152.
Monteiro will be looking to keep his championship hopes alive after a season in which he has regularly challenged at the front. However, Schormans’ remarkable performance in Navarra has significantly changed the situation heading into the final weekend, leaving the Dutchman with a substantial advantage to defend.
The Rookie Championship adds another dimension to the title fight, with Schormans also leading the classification for first-year drivers. As the highest-placed rookie in the overall standings, he is in contention to secure both individual championships in Barcelona.
His closest rookie rival is Coronel, who trails him by 75 points, while Lyzen sits a further 11 points behind. Both drivers have demonstrated their competitiveness throughout the season, although Schormans’ commanding advantage leaves him in a strong position to complete the double. Should he secure the overall Drivers’ Championship, he will automatically claim the Rookie title as well.
While the individual championships remain unresolved, the Teams’ title has already been decided. Mp Motorsport secured the championship at Navarra, claiming its seventh Teams’ title under the Mp Motorsport name and the eighth for its structure, including the championship won by KCL by MP Motorsport. The Dutch squad heads to Barcelona with 431 points, ahead of Griffin Core (283) and T-Code (246), completing another successful season for the team.
Located in Montmeló, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya features a 4.657-kilometre layout with 14 corners, combining high-speed sections with technical corners and heavy braking zones. Its long main straight leads into Turn 1, the circuit’s main overtaking opportunity, while the braking zone at Turn 10 offers another chance to gain positions.
The fast Turn 3 and the demanding final sector place particular emphasis on car balance, tyre management and precision. With three races deciding the remaining titles, qualifying performance and the ability to overtake will be crucial throughout the weekend.
The final weekend begins on Friday, 6 November, with the Official Previous Test from 09:00 to 10:00, followed by Free Practice 1 at 12:50 and Free Practice 2 at 15:40, giving teams their last opportunity to refine their setups before the competitive action begins.
Saturday’s action gets underway with Qualifying 1 at 09:00, before the first race of the weekend at 12:00 (30 minutes + 1 lap). Race 2, contested over 25 minutes plus one lap, will take place at 15:55.
The decisive day arrives on Sunday, with Qualifying 2 scheduled for 09:00, followed by the third and final race of the 2026 season at 12:50 (30 minutes + 1 lap), when the remaining championship titles will be decided.
