The French gun faces his second season in F4
Drivex Team has announced third addition for 2022 F4 Spanish Championship and, after Max Arkhangelskii & Bruno del Pino now drafts French gun Gael Julien.
The 16-years old driver is knocking on the door of the national series after a first year in the F4 French Championship. In 2021 he showed his talent achieving four podiums, including a victory, which placed him P7 overall at the end of the season.
So now Drivex drafts Gael Julien, the next big challenge ahead for him is to get used quickly to the Tatuus chassis and Hankook tyres after racing in 2021 behind the wheel of a Mygale F1 mounting Pirelli tyres. On the other hand he will take advantage of his second complete year in single-seaters this season so the common goal with the Madrid-based squad will be to fight for top honors from the first race of the year.
«I am very happy to drive for Drivex in the F4 Spanish Championship. After spent last season in the French F4 this is the natural step for me and I think we can achieve great things together. Thanks to everyone involved in making this possible, especially Miguel Angel de Castro as well as my sponsors and family for the support. I can’t wait to start testing and kick off the season,» said Gael Julien.
The 2022 F4 Spanish Championship season will start next April 29th at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao.
