The Formula 4 Spanish Championship will begin using an advanced sustainable fuel starting this season. With this move, the REDA demonstrates its firm commitment to reducing emissions in its competitions, a goal initiated more than a year ago with the # LessEmissionsSameEmotions project.
This fuel, supplied by the French company ETS Racing Fuels, will contain 25% advanced sustainable components in 2025. However, this percentage will gradually increase over the next four seasons until reaching 100% sustainable components by 2028. Additionally, this initiative standardizes fuel performance across all participating teams and facilitates its technical control.
Manuel Aviñó, president of the RFEDA, stated: "For the RFEDA, this commitment is a clear statement of intent. Since we first embarked on our journey toward a more sustainable sport, we knew this step had to come sooner rather than later. I am pleased that today, barely a year later, we can already announce that the use of sustainable fuel in our Spanish Formula 4 Championship is now a reality".
