The fourth round of the 2025 F4 Spanish Championship at Circuit Paul Ricard wrapped up the first half of the season with more proof that Thomas Strauven remains the man to beat. The Belgian star added two more victories to his remarkable tally, bringing his season total to six wins and extending his streak to ten consecutive podium finishes — eleven in twelve races so far. His consistency and raw pace have allowed him to deliver a statement of intent in the title fight, pushing his lead in the standings to over 100 points ahead of his closest rivals.
Another headline maker in France was Nathan Tye, who claimed his first-ever victory in the championship and delivered Rodin Motorsport’s second win in F4 Spanish Championship history. Tye’s breakthrough result boosts him firmly into the top five in the drivers’ standings, adding another name to the growing list of potential front-runners for the remainder of the season.
The battle for the runner-up spot is tighter than ever in 2025: Jan Przyrowski (133 points) and René Lammers (132 points) are separated by just one point after Przyrowski added yet another podium and a clean sweep of all three pole positions at Paul Ricard while Lammers scored some good points but missed the top-3 from second consecutive event.
Rookie sensation Ean Eyckmans continues to shine among the front-runners, adding to his reputation as the standout newcomer of 2025. The Belgian driver has now claimed six podiums in the last seven races, sits fourth in the overall standings with 126 points, and remains the clear leader in the Rookie Trophy — while also proving a constant threat to the series’ title contenders at each round.
In the teams’ championship, Griffin Core by Campos Racing further strengthened its advantage with 312 points, pulling clear of MP Motorsport, which holds second place with 227 points.
The Paul Ricard round marks the end of the first half of a thrilling F4 Spanish Championship campaign. After the summer break, the championship action will resume at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto from September 19–21, where the battle for the 2025 crown will pick up right where it left off.
