The RFEDA Appeal and Disciplinary Committee has upheld the appeal submitted by T-Code by Amtog regarding the penalties applied after Race 3 of the F4 Spanish Championship round at Portimão, restoring the team’s one-two finish achieved on track.
Following the race, both Nacho Tuñón and Andrej Petrovic had received 30 seconds penalties each (drive throught impose after the race) for allegedly exceeding the maximum permitted distance to the Safety Car during the restart, dropping them from first and second positions in the final classification.
After reviewing the case, the RFEDA Appeal and Disciplinary Committee concluded that the procedure leading to those penalties should never have been admitted, as the Enquiry Forms had been submitted by a competitor who was not directly involved in the incident. Consequently, Decisions 31 and 32 were declared null and void, the penalties were cancelled and the official Race 3 classification has now been amended accordingly.
The revised result officially confirms Nacho Tuñón as the Race 3 winner, with teammate Andrej Petrovic completing a T-Code by Amtog one-two finish in Race 3 at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
The updated Drivers’ Championship standings see Noah Monteiro retain the lead with 100 points, while Nacho Tuñón climbs from seventh to second on 94 points, and Andrej Petrovic moves from sixth to third with 92 points. The revised classification also produces a change at the top of the Teams’ Championship. T-Code by Amtog moves from second place on 139 points to 182 points, becoming the championship leader for the first time in the team’s history.
