The F4 Spanish Championship heads to Motorland Aragón this weekend for the third round of the 2026 season. Following two highly competitive events in Navarra and Portimão, the title fight arrives in Alcañiz closer than ever, with several drivers separated by only a handful of points and every race carrying significant championship implications.
Rocco Coronel arrives at MotorLand as the championship leader with 78 points and also tops the Rookie standings. The Dutch driver has built his campaign on consistency throughout the opening rounds, but his advantage remains slim. Kasper Schormans sits second with 72 points, while Borys Lyzen is just one point further back on 71 after emerging as the standout performer in Portimão, where he secured two victories and dramatically boosted his title challenge.
Behind the leading trio, Noah Monteiro occupies fourth place with 59 points, while Aleix Piñera rounds out the top five on 51. In the Teams’ Championship, Mp Motorsport continues to set the benchmark after a strong start to the season and arrives at MotorLand determined to extend its advantage.

MotorLand Aragón is widely regarded as one of the most demanding and complete circuits on the calendar. Designed by Hermann Tilke in collaboration with former Formula 1 driver Pedro de la Rosa, the FIA-homologated layout measures 5.345 kilometres and features 18 corners, combining high-speed sections with technical complexes that reward precision and consistency.
The circuit’s most iconic feature is its 1.726-kilometre back straight, one of the longest in European motorsport, which leads into a heavy braking zone and provides one of the prime overtaking opportunities of the weekend. Combined with significant elevation changes and a mix of medium- and high-speed corners, MotorLand presents a major technical challenge for both drivers and engineers, requiring the perfect compromise between aerodynamic downforce and top speed.
Track action begins on Friday with the Official Previous Test at 09:30, followed by Free Practice 1 at 13:15 and a second Free Practice session later in the afternoon. Saturday marks the start of competitive action with Qualifying 1 at 09:00. Race 1 is scheduled for 12:20, while Race 2 will conclude the day at 16:25.
The weekend wraps up on Sunday with Qualifying 2 at 09:00 before Race 3 gets underway at 12:50, bringing an end to what promises to be a crucial round in the fight for the 2026 F4 Spanish Championship titles.
