March 27, 2025 by

The 2025 F4 Spanish Championship season starts earlier than ever and will have Motorland Aragón as the stage for the opening round of its tenth season from March 27th to 30th.

Once again as part of the NAPA Racing Weekend, the Aragón circuit will host six championships on track for a total of 13 races over the weekend, in an event designed for fans of all ages with free entry.

The Motorland Aragón Circuit, regular one of the F4 Spanish Championship, will kick off what promises to be an exciting season for the third time in its history, following 2017 and 2018.

After the debut of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship, most drivers on the Motorland grid arrive with decent preparation, having completed nine races ahead of the official start in Round 1. Thomas Strauven (Griffin Core by Campos) claimed the winter title with two wins, a total of six podiums, four fastest laps, and three pole positions, making him the man to beat as the championship begins.

A full grid from the start — 36 single-seaters — and a new team, T-Code, bring the total to 12 teams on track for this season opener. All contenders begin the year with the same goal: to succeed Mattia Colnaghi and MP Motorsport on the historical champions’ list.

The new calendar remains at seven events for a total of 21 races, maintaining the same structure as 2024, with five rounds in Spain and two abroad (Portugal and France). Notably, Navarra returns to the F4 Spanish Championship after being absent last season due to remodelling of the track.

Teams and drivers face a packed weekend at Motorland Aragón, including 1h20 of collective testing on Friday, in addition to two official collective testing days on Tuesday and Wednesday. The only Free Practice session will take place on Saturday at 8:30 AM local time.

The first qualifying session of 2025 will begin at 11:55 AM local time, where we will discover the driver who will claim the first B.R.M Chronographes Pole Position of the year and start from pole in Race 1, scheduled for 4:55 PM local time.

Sunday will be an action-packed day, featuring the second qualifying session (8:30 AM local time), the short race of the Aragón event at 11:50 AM, and the weekend’s final race at 5:25 PM local time.
