The F4 Spanish Championship reaches its halfway point this weekend with the fourth round of the 2025 season, taking place at the legendary Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France. Once again, a full grid of promising young drivers will tackle another demanding challenge as the fight for the title heats up.
Renowned for its iconic blue and red run-off zones and its smooth, high-grip surface, Paul Ricard is a 5.8-kilometer circuit featuring 15 corners that test both precision and nerve. The long Mistral Straight allows for high-speed slipstreaming battles before the flat-out Signes corner, one of the fastest in Europe, pushes drivers to the limit. Tight technical sections such as Beausset and the final Virage du Pont provide key overtaking spots and often decide the outcome of close races. Thanks to its versatility and top-class facilities, Paul Ricard is a staple on international single-seater and endurance racing calendars.
Heading into Paul Ricard, Thomas Strauven leads the championship standings with 170 points, with René Lammers behind on 112 and Jan Przyrowski on 110. The three have emerged as the strongest contenders for the 2025 crown, while in the teams’ standings, Griffin Core By Campos Racing (229) leads over Mp Motorsport (156) by 73 points before starting the event.
The weekend schedule at Paul Ricard promises non-stop action. On Friday, drivers will have two official previous test sessions at 9:00 and 11:35, followed by free practice at 13:45. Saturday features Qualifying 1 at 9:30 and Race 1 at 12:35. The action continues on Sunday with Qualifying 2 at 9:00, Race 2 at 11:00, and the final Race 3 to close the weekend at 13:30.
With a full grid and the technical demands of Paul Ricard, the fourth round of the F4 Spanish Championship is set to deliver another spectacular weekend of racing at the heart of Provence.
