November 13, 2025 by

After an intense 2025 season that has spanned six circuits across Spain, Portugal and France, the F4 Spanish Championship arrives at its grand finale this weekend at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. With Thomas Strauven having already secured the title in Valencia, the final round will see the focus shift to the battles for the remaining top positions in both the Drivers’ and Teams’ standings.

The penultimate round in Valencia marked another high point in Strauven’s exceptional campaign, as the Belgian driver clinched the 2025 title with dominant performances throughout the year. Behind him, René LammersEan Eyckmans, and Jan Przyrowski remain locked in a fierce fight for the runner-up spot, while Griffin Core by Campos Racing and MP Motorsport prepare for a decisive weekend that will determine the outcome of the Teams’ Championship.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, measuring 4.657 kilometers with 14 corners, is one of Europe’s most iconic venues and a true test of both driver skill and car setup. The track blends high-speed corners like Campsa and Turn 9 with the slow, technical sections of the final sector, demanding precision and rhythm over the entire lap. Overtaking opportunities are concentrated in the heavy braking zones of Turn 1 and Turn 10, where racecraft often makes the difference. Its long main straight, elevation changes, and smooth surface make Barcelona a benchmark for single-seater racing.

The weekend will kick off with two 40-minute previous test sessions, the first on Thursday and the second on Friday. On Saturday, the schedule begins with Free Practice (30 minutes) at 9:00, followed by Qualifying 1 at 12:10 and Race 1 at 16:00. On Sunday, the final day of the season features Qualifying 2 at 8:30Race 2 at 11:35, and the closing Race 3 at 15:30, which will officially conclude the 2025 F4 Spanish Championship.

With the crown already secured but team honors and podium positions still on the line, the Barcelona finale promises a thrilling conclusion to a season that has showcased the next generation of motorsport talent at its very best.
